Design-Statement:

A chronicle as a recipe for the future. In the form of the legendary Popp recipe book, the values and history of the company become emotionally perceptible. The founder character, Walter Popp, writes and talks about the recipes for success and guides us through the history with anecdotes and occurrences. The cover design, layout and production bring the company founder’s recipes to life. A thematically coherent anniversary book for a 100-year company history.

The values of the company founder were and are the basis for Popp's success. Courage, a sense of family, perseverance, quality standards and taste characterize Popp Feinkost to this day. With this emotionalizing chronicle, these values become inspiring recipes for today's actions.

As a likable personality, the company founder lives on as a character to this day. With anecdotes and events, the identifiable figure presents ``his`` recipes for success. Inspired by his legendary recipe book, values and history become easily accessible in a magazine style and retro-modern look.

FUNCTION:

Less strictly chronological and much more in structuring recipes, the story of Popp is told in decades. Values and attitudes form the pool of ideas for the recipes for success. With contemporary documents, images, texts and quotations, they become tangible and experienceable. The image-oriented design turns history into an experience. The chronicle offers a striking, easily accessible cruise through the company's history with highs and lows and many personal anecdotes.
